Deep water by Sulis (2007)
The world will not end
in flood
When in deep water
become a diver
Not by holding fast
your breath
Forcing yourself through
the surface
But instead by releasing
slow bubbles
Until you descend
naturally
Submerging, sinking
your soul
Where soul's like to go
for healing
Down, down, down
into the murky
It is there that roots
take hold
From there you grow
slowly
Like a lotus stem
swaying
Until you're floating
flowering
The world always begins
in flood
